Not every project begins with a prestigious address or a celebrated brief. When a tree fell on a modest house in Belgrave South in 2023, erbauer™ was engaged to put it right — a full restoration designed by Meher Bahl that brought the building into compliance, significantly improved its performance, and restored its value in the process.
It was an early project, and a reminder that the same standard applies regardless of the scale of the work.
Completed in 2024, erbauer™ delivered an extensive scope of works: reconfigured living spaces, accessibility upgrades, improved energy performance, and a thorough programme of compliance works throughout. The result is a home that has been genuinely transformed — reshaped around the people who live in it now, rather than the family it once housed
